Merck sucht BerufseinsteigerIn als Customer Service Specialist



Your role:
An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join us as Customer Service Specialist within our Healthcare Division. In this position you will be owning the order management process from order creation to delivery to the customer. This means you will be on daily basis holding a regular contact with customers (affiliates & Third Party all around the world) to guarantee a maximum level of customer service. Therefore your contribution will directly impact our Growth Strategy and service to the patients. In this position based in Germany (Darmstadt) you will liaise also with the different manufacturing sites in order to guarantee reliable delivery schedules – proper flow of information and documentation to the customers. Communication will be key (both internally/externally) and a great team of Supply Chain professionals is waiting to welcome you.

Who you are:
  • Completed commercial education combined with some years of related working experience or an academic degree
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Customer Service and/or Shipping Logistics processes within the pharmaceutical/chemical industry
  • Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken)
  • Capability to reconcile Supply Chain requirements and constraints with customers and market needs
  • High motivation, Team Player and results-oriented
  • Quick learner and autonomous mind-set
