Your role:

As part of our global Logistics Sourcing Team you will learn about the strategic procurement of logistics services for all business sectors (Healthcare, Life Science and Performance Materials). You will strongly be involved in project management as well as organizational and compliance tasks. This means that you will create presentations, prepare and evaluate data and reports and support additional follow-up tasks using the MS Office package and procurement specific tools. You will be responsible for data reporting and analytics to help shape the direction of development within Merck. You will manage and liaise with internal stakeholders and service providers.

Who you are:

• You study Business Administrations ideally with a focus on Procurement or Supply Chain
• You completed your Bachelor or at least the first half of your Bachelor studies
• You are a self-starter who is flexible, highly motivated, engaged, self-organized
• You possess strong communication skills and excellent English skills
• You are comfortable to work independently and to contribute your ideas

Duration: about 5 months, starting earliest in April 2018
